Sri Sarabeswara is the Thirteenth Avatar of Lord Shiva,
Shiva incarnations being Sixty Four.Adi Sankara and
Hanuman being Avataras of Shiva.Lord Sarabeswara
would be a Ugra (Violent Angry Fierce Terrible) Avatar
of Shiva.The two wings of Sarabeswara represnt the
powerful Devis(goddesses) Soolini Durga Devi and
Prathyankira Devi.

Lord Vishnu takes the form of Narashima to kill the
Demon Hiranyakashyap.The Demon having obtained
a Boon of indestructibility from Lord Brahma.
After slaying the Demon , Narashima is in a Titanic
Rage.

Sarabeswara the form of Shiva than appears and confronts
Narashima.The battle between them ends with Narashima
realizing who Sarabeswara is and calming down.

Some scriptures say that Lord Sarabeswara kills Lord Narashima.
