Flu Mutation Facts:

1.Genes are Made up of DNA or RNA , the Influenza Virus Genes
being made up of RNA are more prone to Mutation.

2. Pigs maybe carrying several different Flu Viruses and these
may mix together to create a new strain of Virus, known as
'Reassortant Virus'.

3.A Reassortant Virus is a Virus with parts from Two Different
Viruses.If we imagine a Virus as a Sphere with DNA or RNA at
the core and a Protein cover,than the DNA or RNA is from
one virus and the Protein covering from another.

4. This is possible in animals like Pigs because different viruses
have infected different cells in Pigs , hence we see Flu Mutation.
