1.Open VLC PLAYER
2.CLICK ON MEDIA Menu.
3.Go to Capture Devices.
4.Select the Capture Mode.
5.The Mode that I used was Video for Linux2.
6.Next select options,the one that worked for
me was PAL_Nc.
7.PAL is Black and White, NTSC is colour.
8.Click Play.

CCTV Cabling

1. The CCTV Cable I had,has 4 Wires within it.
2.All 4 Wires are sheathed in plastic.
3. Cut the outer plastic covering and expose
the wires.
4.The thickest wire amongst the 4 wires is the
one for video.
5.There are two wires for power in my case
coloured black and white.
6.The Last wire is for voice.
7.Concentrate on the thick wire.
8.This has to be connected to the BNC
Connector.The round one at the end.
9.The inner part of the thick wire goes
into the BNC connector and the outer
wiring mesh has to be soldered onto
the connector on the outside.
10.The power cabling can be changed to
be local to the PC just cut adapter and
expose and connect the wiring do the same
at the other end that is the camera end.
