The Secret of the Crystal Circle Sage

A young Spiritual seeker was in search of a Saint to guide him. This Young enthusiast traveled far and wide searching among Ashrams, Temples and Holy Cities.Finally in a great Holy city he heard of a Saint who would come down into the City from the Mountainous forests close to this Pilgrims Paradise. Having entered the City the Sadhu would head to certain Ashrams ,there the Holy Hermit would partake in some Holy Yagnas and later perform some of the most intricate Yoga Asanas .The Sadhu would swiftly depart into the forests after performing the various rituals. Curiosity filled the mind of this young spiritual seeker, by the name of Satish.Satish stayed on in this city waiting for the next great Yagna to take place. During his stay in the city he heard many a tale about this mysterious mystic. The Sadhu was also called the ‘Sadhu of the Circle of Water’.Some said whomsoever knew the "Secret of The circle of Water" would attain to immortality .It was said that only the Sadhu could teach this great secret .Satish was filled with excitement at hearing such esoteric stories.Satish knew he had to meet this Great Guru.
At the next great Holy Ceremony held in one of the Ashrams, Satish was present.The crowd was immense. People thronged all over the place.Many like Satish had come to get a glimpse of this mysterious saint. At last Satish saw the Sadhu seated among the various other Saint’s chanting Holy Mantras .After the Ritual was over the Sadhu swiftly departed, melting into the crowd, he walked with a swift gait. The Sadhu was lean and seemed exceedingly fit for a man of his age.The Sadhu was soon at the banks of the River on the edge of the city, by the time Satish reached the River the Sadhu was sailing away. Satish boarded the first boat at sight, showing the boatman a wad of money, giving chase.
Satish got of at the same spot where the Sadhu disembarked .This part of the River was desolate and eerie. He Saw a few Sadhus and some looked really scary. Braving himself Satish ventured into the forest. There was a trail leading into the forest, which He followed.
Finally after hours of searching he found the small Ashram of the Sadhu.This was a very neatly kept Ashram.There were 5 neat Huts of varying size's arranged around the clearing in the forest .A vegetable and fruit Garden was situated at one side of the Ashram,various colorful flower plant grew along the Garden fence.
In the middle of the Ashram sat the Sage.An enormous Tree provided shade for the Sage.He was lost in Meditation.Than Satish noticed something odd ,the Sage sat in the middle of a perfectly formed circle.The Circle was a duct in which water flowed.It was like the Sage was encircled in a circle of water.In a flash satish thought 'the secret of the crystal circle'.It was an ingenious setup water from an overhead tank was allowed to flow gently around the Circle,the speed of flow being controlled by a valve.The Water flowed around the Circle and at a certain outlet connected to a stream flowing into the Garden.Satish also noticed a motor to pump water up into the Tank.An array of solar energy panels
behind one of the Huts answered satish's mental query of the source of power.
"Hmmm now this is a new age Yogi "satish thought and chuckled to himself.

Satish waited a whole day before the Sage came out of his trance.
Opening His eyes the Sage saw satish.

Satish prostrated himself before the Great Yogi and said "Oh Great One I am blessed to have your Darshan"

The Sage smiled.

Satish"For years i have searched for a true Yogi and now i am in front of such a Great Sage, i wish to learn from You"


The Sage smiled.

Satish continued" Oh Great Muni do teach me the Secret of the Crystal Circle"

The expression on the Sage's face turned to one of puzzlement and He said " what ???"

Satish smiled gently pointing at the large circle of water around the Saint.


Sage "oh you mean this circle of water"

satish smiled.

Sage "its to keep the Ants out ,and trust me" he said gently rubbing his hind side"there are some really Big Ones in the Tree behind me
